Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide uniformity of the adhesion of an insulator by inserting the feet of plural number of electron tube heaters by means of a jig provided with a wedged slant surface of a specified acute angle in the lateral direction of the main surface and applying and insulator from the horizontal and oblique directions in relation to the main surface. CONSTITUTION:The feet of plural number of heaters 51 are inserted in a recess or insertion section 43 provided in the longitudinal direction of the main surface section 42 of the catching jig 41 of each hater and at the same time, plural number of spray gun, namely the first and second spraying guns 52 and 53 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the jig 41 and toward the horizontal and oblique directions in relation to the main surface section 42, respectively. An insulator is injected and applied to the overall surface of the heater 51. This jig 41 is provided with an inclined surface section 44 making a peak angle theta2 to the main surface 42 so that a wedge may be formed with the main surface 42. Thus, none of the insulator hitting the inclined surface 44 after injected from the horizontal spraying gun 52 can be splashed to the heaters 51, and uniform adhesion of the insulator can be achieved.
