Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the electromagnetic flow meter converter which is capable of highly accurate measurement with a good S/N ratio, by synchronizing pulses having a specified voltage or current with an exciting period and by multiplying said pulses to a sensed signal from a flow rate sensing part. CONSTITUTION:An exciting current is flowed to a sensing coil 4 of a sensing end 3 from an exciting circuit 2 in synchronization with the exciting signal from a timing circuit 1. The output signal Ei from the coil 4 is amplified by a preamplifier 5, and the amplified signal is inputted to a multiplier 11. To the multiplier 11, the output from a reference pulse amplifier 10 which generates the pulses synchronized with the exciting signal of the timing circuit 1 is inputted. In this constitution, since the average output Eo of the multiplier 11 is given by an equation (1), noises in the sensed signal can be removed if the pulse width of the reference pulses is made to be the period of a commercial power source, and the S/N ratio is improved. In the equation, K and K' are constants which are determined by the amplification degree of the preamplifier 5 and the like, T is period of the reference pulse, and ER is the magnitude of the reference pulse.
