Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare an ink jet head of high precision and reliability which is improved in causing discharged ink droplets to go straight by a method wherein ink passages of the head are formed by laminating hardened films of photosensitive resin and the overall area of ink discharging hole is composed of resin hardened film. CONSTITUTION:An ink discharge pressure generating element 2 is arranged on a proper substrate 1 and then a photoresist hardened film 3H is formed, and after that a hardened photoresist film 5H is formed so that photoresist is not caused to drop into the window part of the ink discharge pressure generating element 2 formed in the film 3H. In the formed recessed part, there exists a part 7a corresponding to an ink supply chamber and another part 7b corresponding to an ink passage. An inter-connecting opening 9 is formed by pasting a dry film photoresist 8 to the film 5H and hardening it, and then the substrate is cut along the line C-C' and ground and connected to an ink tank.
