Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of a floor pannel by using a bulkhead for reinforcing a tunnel of the floor pannel in which a fuel tank is held. CONSTITUTION:A tunnel 2 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, having an upward protruberance and an opening at the lower side, is formed widthwise in the middle of a floor pannel 1 and a fuel tank 3 is disposed therein. A symmetrical cross members 5A, 5B are connected to the walls at both sides of the tunnel 2 and a bulkhead 6 which connects both the nearly internal ends of said cross members 5a, 5B is disposed below the fuel tank 3. The bulkhead protects the fuel tank 3 and also improves rigidity of the floor pannel 1.
