Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the floor of a loading body and to obtain a device optimum for a front-lifting dump truck by a method wherein the upper part of a lateral wall is made to have a beam structure of closed section, which presents the reinforcement against the bending force in the longitudinal direction, and thus a conventional main crossbeam is omitted. CONSTITUTION:A dump truck 1 is equipped with a loading body 3 mounted tiltably on a chassis 2 and also a dumping mechanism 4 provided between the chassis 2 and the loading body 3. The loading body 3 is composed of a floor board 5, a pair of left and right lateral walls 6, a front wall 7, a tailboard 8 and support frames 9 and the floor board 5 is formed to be nearly flat, while both of the left and right lateral ends being connected in continuity with the lower ends of the lateral walls 6 through the intermediary of arc parts 10 and the floor board 5, lateral walls 6 and arc parts 10 being formed by bending a single board. And the support frames 9 are constituted by a beam 12, longitudinal bearms 13, crossbeams 14, connecting members 15 and auxiliary beams 16. By this constitution, a main crossbeam so far used can be omitted, the floor of the loading body can be lowered, the body can be made lighter and thus this can be made optimum for the front-lifting-type dumping system.
