Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the bake of an elastomer material and to largely shorten the vulcanizing time of the material by immersing a vulcanization accelerator in the material in the state that the material may not receive a heat hysteresis more than that before the vulcanizing step. CONSTITUTION:A rubber elastomer material (100 of NR, 50 of carbon black, 1,5 of sulfur and 1, 2 of vulcanization accelerator) is immersed in an acetone solution of mercaptobenzothiazole or the like as a vulcanization accelerator, the solvent is dried, and the material is then vulcanized. Thus, the vulcanizing time can be shortened by 30% shorter than the mormal time. It is preferred to mix short fiber in the material so as to improve the immersing property of the accelerator.
