Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled resin composition capable of being cured uniformly in air and low in cure shrinkage, prepared by mixing a specified prepolymer obtained by the reaction between a polyisocyanate compound and a polythiol with a polyene and a photosensitizer.
CONSTITUTION: A polyisocyanate compound (e.g., trimethylolpropane/tolylene diisocyanate adduct) is reacted with a polythiol compound e.g., ethylene glycol (thioglycolate) at an -SH/-NCOmol ratio ≥1.5 to form a prepolymer containing at least two terminal -SH groups. Then, the resulting prepolymer is mixed with a polyene (e.g., triaryl isocyanurate) and a photosensitizer (e.g., benzophenone) to obtain an ultraviolet ray-curable resin composition.
