Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent layer formation of stored liquid by injecting low temperature liquefied gas through a nozzle which allows the liquefied gas to be discharged in horizontal directions and to be dispersed all over the liquid level in horizontal directions. CONSTITUTION:A multicomponent family low temperature liquefied gas is stored in a storage tank 1 which is provided with an injection nozzle 4. The injection nozzle 4 is designed to inject a multicomponent family low temperature liquefied gas over the stored liquid level. The injected gas has the same quality of the stored liquid and has a greater density. The injection nozzle 4, connected to an injection pipe above the stored liquid level is also designed to inject the liquefied gas almost in horizontal directions. The low temperature liquefied gas 2a injected and dispersed in horizontal directions from the nozzle 4, is extended over the surface of the stored liquid 2 and drops toward the bottom of the storage tank, mixing with the stored liquid. Therefore, the injected gas can be mixed with the stored liquid very efficiently.
