Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled high-quality forming agent releasable readily after long-term storage under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, causing no reduction in remaining bond strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive, obtained by blending a specific alkyd resin modified with a silicone with an amino resin modified with an alkanol and an acidic catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. alkyd resin (0.1W50wt% organopolysiloxane) modified with a silicone, e.g., an organopolysiloxane preferably a compound shown by the formula having good compatibility with an alkyd resin having 15W50mol% phenyl group based on organic groups linked to silicon atoms in one molecule and at least one hydroxy- substituted organic group shown by the formula HO-R(S)a-R (R is bifunctional hydrocarbon; a is 0 or 1) in the remaining organic groups is blended with (B) 15W150pts.wt. amino resin modified with an alkanol (e.g., methoxymethylol melamine resin, etc.) and (C) 1W20pts.wt. acidic catalyst (e.g., p-toluenesulfonic acid, etc.).
