Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the depth of the color of recording uniform and raise the quality of recording by forming a plurality of resistance dots that are adjacently located mutually into a group and controlling for each group the electric power applied to each dot according to the dimension of the number of heat generating dots in the group. CONSTITUTION:A pluraity of dots 10a that are close to one another on one plane of a recording head are made into a group 12, and in each group a control means 13 is provided which comprises a resistance 13a for control to control electric power to be applied to dots 10a according to the largeness or smallness of the number of heat generating dots. Then the resistance 13a is put as a common resistance in series to each dot 10a through a transistor 11a in the same group. Constant output electric power is applied to all dots 10a through a chopper circuit from an electric power source circuit, and by this uniform depth of the color of recording can be obtained regardless of the number and concentration of dots that are generating heat.
