Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the check of diversity receiving, by providing a changeover switch which stops the diversity receiving operation to switch the operation to receiving using plural antennas. CONSTITUTION:FM receiving circuits 2a and 2b and multipath noise detectors 3a and 3b are connected to receiving antennas 1a and 1b, respectively, and outputs of detectors 3a and 3b are compared with each other by a comparing circuit 4, and the signal of less noise is selected by a changeover switch 5 and a switching circuit 6. The circuit 6 drives light emitting diodes PD1 and PD2 which indicate the selected antenna. The switch 5 has an operation knob to select the diversity operation and the receiving of antennas 1a and 1b, and operations of antennas 1a and 1b and circuits 2a and 2b and the diversity receiving operation are confirmed by the operation of thin knob.
