Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a receiver suitable for a car mounting radio set, by selecting an antenna having higher reception level periodically with one set of receiver. CONSTITUTION:When the 1st sample switch 12 turns on, the reception level of an antenna 1 is stored in the 1st sample holding circuit 14. When this is finished, a driving circuit 18 is operated and a changeover switch 3 is switched to the antenna 2 side. Next, the 2nd sample switch 13 turns on and the reception level of the antenna 2 is stored in the 2nd sample holding circuit 15. The reception level of the antennas 1 and 2 stored in the sample holding circuits 14, 15, is compared at a comparison circuit 16, the driving circuit 18 is driven depending on the result of comparison to control the switch 3 to be changed over an antenna having greater reception level.
