Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the production of switching noise, by making inoperative the switching function of system when a reception level is a prescribed value or more, in a space diversity reception system. CONSTITUTION:A signal received at antennas 1, 2 is applied to a switching section 5, and only the system with high reception level is applied to a reception section consisting of a high frequency amplifier 6, a frequency converter 7 and an intermediate frequency amplifier 10 selectively. If the system of the antenna 1 is selected, when the reception level is a prescribed value or more produced at a reference voltage generating section 17, a logical circuit 18 is controlled, and evel if the reception level received at an antenna 2 is higher than the reception level of the antenna 1 under present reception, the switching section 5 is made inoperative to keep the reception state from the antenna 1. Thus, no switching noise is produced from the switching section 5.
