Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain superior stability while obtaining an extremely precise attenuation electrode, by providing an auxiliary electrode between energy-confined type resonators on an input and an output side, and by selecting the size of this auxiliary electrode adequately. CONSTITUTION:Energy-confined resonators 6 and 6 are formed on a piezoelectric substrate 5; one resonator 6 is connected to signal input terminals 1 and 2, and the other resonator 6 is connected to signal output terminals 3 and 4. Further, an auxiliary electrode 8 is provided between both the resonators 6 and 6, and the depth length k1W of the substrate 5 of this electrode 8 is less than the length W of the resonators 6 in the same direction. Consequently, an attenuation electrode is realized only by the propagation operation of an elastic oscillating wave with extremely high precision. Further, its stability is superior because no electric element is used.
