Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the fuel to be supplied during acceleration, by providing additional fuel control device which imparts fuel pressure by means of a diaphragm mechanism responding to change of intake regative pressure and discharges fuel through a channel other than normal fuel passages.
CONSTITUTION: When a throttle valve 3 is abruptly opened to be accelerated, the intake negative pressure in the downstream of the throttle valve 3 should rapidly approach an atomspheric pressure. In this time, a pressure which is applied to an air chamber 31 having a suction communication passage 28 quickly approaches the atomspheric pressure, causing a diaphragm 22 to move rightward, so that a fuel chamber 30 is increased in pressure. And then, when this pressure increases to overcome that of a spring 24 of the check valve 23, the valve 23 is opened and fuel is discharged from a pump nozzle 26.
