Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the flow force by connecting the upstream side flow passage to the upstream side chamber so that annular swirling flow is generated in the upstream side chamber and permitting the stream at the throttle part on switching spool to be vertically to the axis of the spool.
CONSTITUTION: The upstream side flow passage 3 is connected in the tangential direction to the upstream side chamber 4, permitting an annular swirling stream to be generated in the chamber 4. As a result of this, the stream which flows into the volume to be inspected a-b-c-d-e-f-g-h is set vertical to the shaft of the spool and directed to the center, and the inflow angle θ1 can be set nearly 90 degree. Thus, the flow force which forms resistance to the operation of the spool can be reduced.
