Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a naturally enlarged picture and to increase the quality of picture, through the pickup of a video signal corresponding to each TV receiver, correction of time axis with a time axis correction means and extension of the corrected video signal to the boundary of adjacent receiver greater than the screen of the receiver. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal fp is inputted to an A/D converter 11 and timing circuit 12, and a signal digitized at the converter 11 is applied to a chroma signal Y/C separation circuit 13, where the signal is separated into luminance and chroma signal Y, C with a timing signal from the circuit 12. The luminance and chrominance signals Y, C are applied to MXM sets of storage sections 1411-14MM provided corresponding to the TV receiver. The storage section 1411-14MM are controlled with the timing signal from the circuit 12 for the correction of the time axis. The video signal corrected for the time axis is enlarged to the boundary of the adjacent receiver at enlargement operating sections 1511-15MM under the control of the circuit 12, applied to each receiver via D/A converters 1611-16MM to increase the quality of the picture.
