Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the terminal controller without system-down through flexible corresponding connection by program operation, by coupling the input and output device and the input and output device adaptor to constitute the coupling table.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal multiplexer channel TMC providing the input and output device adaptor 10A is connected to the central processing unit CPU, the input device corresponding to the number of the adaptor 10A is connected to the channel TMC, and the output from the channel TMC is fed to the memory MEM. This memory MEM is constituted with the basic program BS-PR for channel TMC controlled with the supervisory program SUP and the application program AP-PR and further, the coupling table TBL. With this constitution, the input from the input device IO is assigned to the table TBL via the adaptor 10A, channel TMC, and program BS-PR, and it is written in the table TBL in the order of input from the device IO.
