Abstract
PURPOSE: A microorganism producing coenzyme Q is cultured in a medium containing cystein to increase the productivity of coenzyme Q.
CONSTITUTION: A microorganism being capable of producing coenzyme Q is cultured in a culture or liquid culture containing cysteine only, a combination thereof with choline or a compound producing choline in water such as choline chloride or choline citrate or a combination thereof with a betain such as glycine betain or γ- butylobetain.
