Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the shock resistance of a packaged food consisting of an egg and jelly mainly, and prevent the damage during the transportation, by filling a container with a jellylike food and a raw egg, sealing the container, heating the container at a specific temperature for a given time, and cooling and coagulating the food and egg.
CONSTITUTION: A jelly liquid 2 and a raw egg 3 are filled into a synthetic resin transparent container 1, e.g. polypropylene, nontoxic to the human body, and a sealing material 12 is placed on the opening of the container 1 to well the periphery thereof to a flange 11. The container 1 is then heated in a heating bath at about 69°C for 1W1.5hr to form an egg food 3a wherein an egg white 31 is soft boiled and an egg yolk 32 is solidified. The container 1 is then immersed in a cooling water bath etc. to give a jellylike food 2a comprising the coagulated jelly liquid. Thus, the jelly food 2a surrounds and protects the egg food 3a, and absorbs the external shock to the egg food 3a to prevent the shape collapse thereof.
