Abstract
PURPOSE: To smoothly, simply carry out the successive work of the drawing work and the cutting work, and to improve the working efficiency, by installing the cutter at the terminal end of the drawing groove.
CONSTITUTION: An end of the pipe W is inserted between the drawing grooves 13a, 13b, formed between the driving roller 9 and the following roller 11, and the changeover valve is operated to turn and bring down the following roller 11 in the direction to contact with the driving roller 9. Under the condition that the pipe W is clamped between the grooves 13a, 13b, the drawing work is started. By turning the handle 19, the driving roller 9 synchronizes with the following roller 11 and both rollers 9, 11, turn respectively in the opposite directions, and hereby, the pipe W is gradually drawn. The pipe W being drawn like this is cut by the cutters 15a, 15b, installed at the terminal end of the drawing grooves 13a, 13b, and the drawing work of the pipe W is completed.
