Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce propelling resistance by providing an auxiliary body to form a proper interval between it and a nozzle at the vicinal part at the front end of the nozzle in a proper place in the circumferential direction of the nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 11 which is formed into ring-shape in the front and practically inverted triangular shape on the lateral sides are fixed on each side near the stern of a hull 12. An auxiliary body 15 which is wing-shaped in its section is provided so as to form a proper interval between it and the nozzle 11, which facilitates to largely change the camber line from the original camber line 16 without the auxiliary body to 17, and to improve propelling efficiency.
