Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce downward reflection, by reflecting the incident wave upward to minimize the range of the downward reflection wave and by selecting diemsions of slope steps to cancell reflection waves with each other, in the reflective plate formed with the expanded metal. CONSTITUTION:Slope step-form reflective plates 5-7 are so constituted that the horizontal pitch is H and the inclined angle is (r) and path difference (d) of propagation between reflection waves 10 and 11 of radio waves 8 and 9 is an integral multiple of wavelength lambda. That is, they satisfy d=nlambda=Hsin2r.
