Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the number of degrees of freedom for designing an antenna, by determining a curved surface of a dielectric lens and a mirror surface shape of a subreflector so that a radio wave which has been reflected by a main refletor has a prescribed aperture electric power distribution. CONSTITUTION:A radio wave which has been emitted from a primary radiator 1 is refracted by a dielectric lens 4, is reflected by a subreflector 2, and furthermore is reflected by a main reflection surface 3 consisting of a paraboloid of rotation. In this way, curved surfaces 5, 6 of the dielectric lens 4 and a mirror surface shape of the subreflector are determined so that the radio wave which has been reflected by the main reflection surface has a prescribed electric power distribution.
