Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a good resonance state, by irradiating electromagnetic waves to the side edge and a main reflective mirror with a sufficient intensity by deforming the form of a reflector. CONSTITUTION:A short back fire antenna is formed by a main reflective mirror and a reflector. In this case, the reflector is formed eymmetrically for the axis, and and one of the combinational form of a plane 51 and a conical face 61, the combinational form of a plane 52 and a spherical face 62, and the combinational form of two conical faces different in vertical angle from each other is selected as the form of the reflector. As a result, electromagnetic waves are irradiated uniformly throughout a wide angle by the conical face 61 and are synthesized with the reflection wave due to the plane 51 and the direct wave from a feeding element 2, thus obtaining a sufficiently intensive radiation characteristic in a wide angle.
