Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase acoustic resistance and mechanical resistance easily with a small amount of a sound absorbing material, by inserting the sound absorbing material between a diaphragm and frame in direct contact with the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:The speaker is constituted while diaphragm 7 is supported on frame 8 fitted to plate 3 through damper 6 so that it will be vibrated by voice coil 5 wound around voice coil bobbin 4 and center pole 1 having magnet 2. Then, a sound absorbing material, made of felt, cotton, etc., is provided between diaphragm 7 and frame 8 and this sound absorbing material is in contact with or bonded to diaphragm 7, thereby remakably increasing the mechanical resistance at lower than a minimum resonance frequency.
