Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a speaker having a little harmonic distortion and flat sound- pressure/frequency characteristics, by preventing the natural resonance sound of an edge, supporting the outer circumferential part of the speaker diaphragm in a freely oscillatory state, from being radiated directly to the front surface and by suppressing the split vibration of the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Damper 12 through which the inner circumferential part of diaphragm 11 is supported on speaker frame 13 in a freely oscillatory state is provided. The magnetic means composed of magnet 15 is provided to interpose voice coil 17 in a freely oscillatory state in the magnetic gap between yoke 16 and top plate 14, and the inner circumferential part of diaphragm 11 is fixed to voice coil 17. At the outer circumferential part of diaphragm 11, rib 11a bent backward is formed by using the same material and at the reverse side closer to the internal diameter than the rib, edge 18 having the fixed inner circumferential part to the rear side near the inside diameter is blocked with gap 20 between diaphragm 11 and cone ring 19. Thus, hamonic distortion or the like can be reduced and flat sound-pressure-frequency characteristics can also be obtained.
