Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to achieve high speed processing, by stopping the calculation of quotinent when the operation is divided out on the way of decimal division and writing in the zero digit as the lower rank figure by the number of figure not calculated in writing the quotinent in a memory. CONSTITUTION:At the end of quotinent calculation every figure, the result of quotinent RQ is fetched and stored in a RQD register 2004 sequentially from the lower rank in order, and the detection circuit 205 detects whether or not remainder of quotinent every figure is zero. Further, with the output of an auxiliary adder 203, the number of figures of quotinent not calculated is designated at a CTR register 2003, and the detection circuit 206 detects if the number of figures of quotinent for not calculated part is zero through the content of this designation, and the result of detection is fed to the micro-program control section 204 via FF207 together with the zero for the remainder of quotinent detected with a detection circuit 205. Further, the calculation of quotinent is stopped when the operation is divided out on the way of decimal division, and the operational processing is executed in high speed by writing in the zero digit as the lower rank figure by the number of figures of noncalculation value, when the quotinent is written in the memory.
