Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous driving force in a predetermined direction upon alternate current flow to two-phase coils by magnetizing magnet provided in a driving body so that N-pole region, non-magnetic pole part and S-pole region are formed in this order. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 12 of a driving body 1 has an N-pole region and an S-pole region alternately magnetized in the moving direction, and at the intermediate of both poles there is formed an effective non-magnetic pole part of a predetermined width in which an N-pole and an S-pole are coexisting. On the other hand, the stator has four main salient-poles 13 and auxiliary salient-poles 14 and 15 positioned therebetween in an armature core 13. Moreover, the main salient-poles are provided with two-phase coils formed by connecting in series coils 16a1, 16a2 and 16b1, 16b2. Therefore, the pitch of each main salient-pole is made equivalent to the pitch of the non-magnetic pole part of the magnet 12 and a current is caused to flow alternately to the two-phase coils, whereby a continuous driving force can be obtained and current-flow change-over means can be greatly simplified.
