Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the driving circuit of a printer unit arranged in a terminal by using a minimum buffer memory for prescribed horizontal one-line components of a display format to perform scanning conversion.
CONSTITUTION: Start switch SW1 of printer PRT is turned on to set FF14, and the output of this FF14 is applied to counter 15 which counts horizontal scanning lines and counter 1 which counts the number of bits written into memory 3, and counters 1 and 15 are cleared. Then, vertical gate signal VG is applied to counter 11 which counts display horizontal lines to make counter 11 into an operation state, and coincidence of output during this time is detected by coincidence circuit 12, and a write/read signal is outputted from gate 13, and one-horizontal line component of picture data are written in memory 3 and stored by gate 7. Picture data written in memory 3 is read in horizontal and vertical scanning speeds of printer PRT of a comparatively lower speed, and one-horizontal line components of picture data are printed.
