Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance selective absorption efficiency by forming a selective absorptive heat receiving area by coating the base having a mirror surface with an oxide film of a given metal composition at a predetermined thickness. CONSTITUTION:The selective absorbing section is composed of a base plate 4 having securely laid thereon a transparent plate 1, an air layer 2 and an oxide coating film 3 in that order as viewed in the direction of incidence of the sun rays, a plate 5 forming a fluid passage 8 with said base plate 4, an air layer 6 and a heat insulating layer 7. This selective absorbing section is formed by subjecting a stainless steel of a composition comprising 0.005-0.12wt% of C, 0.005-1.00wt% of Si 0.005- 1.00wt% of Mo, 11.00-26.00wt% of Cr, 0.1-1.25wt% of at least one of Ti, Nb, Ta, U, Th, W, Zr and Hf, or in some case 0.75-5.00wt% of Mo, the balance being Fe, to 3- to 40-minute immersion in an acidic bath composed of 100-400g/1 of sodium bichromate or potassium bichromate and 400-800g/1 of sulfuric acid at a temperature of from 50 deg.C to the boiling point. Said stainless steel is JISBO 601 provided with oxide coating with a surface roughness of less than 0.7mu in terms of Ra and less than 0.2mu in terms of Rz.
