Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a small-size and long-delay time elastic surface wave element by providing a repeller inclined for I/O electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Certain frequency components excited by signal source 21 are subjected to electric-mechanical conversion by input electrode 12 and advance along center axis 16 and are reflected by cross finger parts having an interval corresponding to their waveform in repeller 14 and are propagated toward repeller 15 and are reflected again there and are propagated toward output electrode 13. Since the propagation distance in the low frequency side can be longer than that in the high frequency side by forming outside fingers of respective electrodes so that they may be at a wide interval for a low frequency, the pulse width can be compressed by sweeping signal source 21 from the low frequency toward the high frequency.
