Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a grill usable also as an oven by arranging a heat source in the upper portion of a roasting chamber of a grill portion and timely disposing a hot-air draft amount adjustor between the heat source and a cooked body placed in the roasting chamber.
CONSTITUTION: In the case where a hot-air draft amount adjustor 6 is provided a part of the hot air is shielded, so that an oven chamber 3' below the adjustor 6 does not attain a temperature above a predetermined temperature, and there is established a temperature suitable for oven cooking. In addition, while the oven chamber 3' formed between the adjustor 6 and a receiver pan 14 is heated by radiant heat, the air draft in the chamber 3' is small and the passage of exhaust gas heat is zero, so that the chamber 3' is kept at a constant temperature and the pan 14 attains a higher temperature as compared with the atmosphere above it; thus, the cooked body is heated and grilled from above and below and from side faces. Thus, oven cooking can be effected.
