Abstract

PURPOSE: To assure the power source of the display system when regular abnormalities such as supply shortage, occur by so constituting the apparatus that the function of an automatic power breaking device is stopped by the signal of the time when the foregoing abnormalities occur.
CONSTITUTION: Now, an OR gate 16 is provided to the output end of a one-shot F/F 4. The output of the one-shot F/F 4 is passed through an OR gate 16 to control a relay RA. A paper absence detection signal a, developer shortage detection signal b and paper jam detection signal c are respectively inputted to this OR gate 16. While any of these signals is "1", the relay RA actuates so that its contacts are kept turned ON. Hence, when any abnormality such as supply shortage, etc. has occured, the copying operation is stopped but the power source is not broken, thus the power source for the display system may be secured.
