Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily and safely test a motor dynamo in combination with another machine while the motor dynamo is disconnected from the water wheel, by providing a means between the rotary section of the pump water wheel and an upper cover to prevent the upward movement of the rotation section.
CONSTITUTION: A water wheel shaft 3 is appropriately fitted with fixing members 12, 16 coupled to fitting members 14 on the upper cover 10. Chains 13 are tensioned between the fixing member 12, 16 and the fitting members 14. A plurality of bolts 17 are attached to the upper cover 10 to prevent the rotary section of the pump water wheel from floating up. A gap is set between the pump water wheel shaft 3 and a motor dynamo shaft 8. The pump water wheel is thus prevented from floating up while water is filled in a draft. Therefore, the motor dynamo can be easily and safely tested alone or in combination with another machine while water is filled in the draft and pump water wheel is disconnected from the motor dynamo.
