Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide heat melting ink which is impregnated in continuously porous roll body, convenient to be carried, fitted and can be melted by a little heat and used for copy sheets.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-sensitive ink roll 1 is fitted in contact with an endless ink ribbon 4, the surface of the heat-sensitive ink roll 1 is heated through the ink ribbon 4 or by a heat supplying roll 3 which is in direct contact and the heat melting ink roll 1 and the heat supplying roll 3 rotate at a speed responding to the transfer speed of the ink ribbon 4 and form a successive and uniform heat melting ink layer 8 on the ink ribbon 4. The ink layer 8 is transferred by the ink ribbon 4 between a platen 7 and a heating head 5, put upon a copy sheet 6, pressed by the heating head 5 and printing figures 9 are formed.
