Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the stop of an engine, by discriminating the abnormality of a sucked air quantity sensor by the existence of the signals of the sucked air quantity sensor within a fixed extent, and by transmitting false signals when abnormality.
CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic unit 1 computes the basic quantity of injection by the suction quantity signals S1 of a sucked air quantity sensor 2 and the signals of a rotary sensor 3, addes the quantity of correction on the basis of the signals of a throttle sensor 4, an exhaust sensor 5 and other sensors and decides the quantity of injection, and puts out injection pulses with pulse width corresponding to the quantity to an injection valve 6. Meanwhile, an abnormality detecting circuit 7 inputs said suction quantity signals S1, decides the abnormality of the sensor 2 when the magnitude deviates from a fixed extent and puts out abnormal signals S2. The arithmetic unit 1 intercepts the signals S1 when it inputs the abnormal signals S2, changes over the signals to false signals beforehand decided and puts out the false signals to the injection valve 6. Said abnormality detecting circuit 7 is formed being provided with an operational amplifier OP1 and a comparator COM1.
