Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure unaided running in a simple construction by making a conversion into a fixed value of air flow only by the conversion table of a voltage-flow converter receiving the output of a hot-wire flow meter to measure the suction amount of air when a disconnection or other troubles are given in the hot-wire flow meter. CONSTITUTION:The output of a hot-wire flow meter 4 is inputted into a basic pulse computing part 9 via an A/D converter 5 and a voltage-flow converter 6, and added to the output of a revolution detector 7 for calculating a basic pulse width. This basic pulse width is outputted to a fuel injection amount correction computing part 10 and an ignition timing computing part 11, where it is respectively corrected by correction signals from various sensors 20 indicating the driving state of an engine and outputted to a fuel injection valve 16 and an ignition circuit 17 as a fuel injection control signal and an ignition control signal. At this stage, the voltage-flow conversion table in a memory 19 of the voltage-flow converter 6 is set to output of fixed value of air flow between the minimum flor and the maximum flow needed for the revolution of the engine at the time of trouble of a hot-wire flow meter 4.
