Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to give a perspective and stereo-graphic impression by freely adjusting a luminance signal, by providing a variation signal generating circuit which generates its output when the Z coordinate value among three dimensional coordinates X, Y and Z is changed.
CONSTITUTION: The DDA circuit 1 processes sequentially coordinate data Ze on a straight line linking the initial and terminal points of Z coordinate values and then outputs results, and higher (n) bits of it are set to counter 4. At every time when the Z coordinate value to be outputted changes by a value set to register 7 according to the arithmetic progress of circuit 1, counter 4 counts up or down depending upon the output of the variation signal generating circuit composed of counter 5, comparator 6 and register 7.
