Abstract

PURPOSE:To let developing, transferring and fixing be done accurately and rapidly by using aliphatic hydrocarbon as carrier liquid and using the developer comprising despersing the toners containing the resin containing 80wt% or more of the resin components insoluble in this and coloring materials in this, for the development of electrostatic latent images. CONSTITUTION:A latent image forming part 3, a developing part 4, a squeeze part 5, corona charger 6, a transfer part 7 and a cleaning part 8 are disposed around a photosensitive drum 1. The developing solution 9 dispersed with the toners containing the resin (preferably the polyethylene which is 1,000cps or less in viscosity at 140 deg.C, has a degree of crystallivity of 30-90% and of which 90% or more is insoluble in the carrier liquid) which 80wt% or more out of the resin components in the toners is insoluble in the aliphatic hydrocarbon used as the developing solution carrier liquid and coloring agents is put in the developing solution tank 10 of the developing part 4.
