Abstract
PURPOSE: To make powder uniform as well as simplify its granulating process by a procedure in which grain nuclei formed at the upper end portion of a vibrating inclined surface are dropped onto a powder delivered upwardly along the inclined surface of granulation.
CONSTITUTION: The powder 17 is supplied through a powder supplier 14 from its lower end to an inclined surface 10a of a trough 10 vibrated by a vibrator 13 and then directed upwards along the inclined surface 10a to form a stagnating portion 11 at the upper end. Then, water droplets 18 are dropped from a water droplets supplier 15 onto the stagnated powder 17 to form the grain unclei 19a which are, in turn, tumbled down from the powder 17 while being brought into contact with the upwardly delivered powder 17 along the inclined surface 10a and also while being tapped by vibration. Then, the granules 19 thus formed are temporarily stored at a projection 12 at the lower prt of the inclined surface 10a and then recovered through the slit 12a into the container 16.
