Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the title receptor having sensitivity in a wide wavelength region, superior crystallization resistance and a long life by forming a selenium- antimony surface layer on a sensitized layer of a selenium receptor.
CONSTITUTION: On amorphous selenium layer 2 placed on electrically conductive substrate 1 such as Al plate about 0.5W10μ thick selenium-tellurium layer 3 (sensitized layer) doped with about 6W40wt% tellurium and 0.5W5μ thick selenium- antimony layer 4 (surface layer) doped with 0.5W6wt% antimony are formed to provide an electrophotographic receptor.
