Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the magnetic load of a superconductive generator by providing the first and the second superconductive coils at a rotor and disposing the second coil in the vicinity of a magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:A coil mounting shaft 3 of a rotor 1 is provided in a heat insulating vacuum container 2. A superconductive coil 4 made of Nb-Ni and a coil 7 made of compound superconductive wire of Nb3Sn or the like are provided at the rotor. Since the coil 7 is mounted in the vicinity of a magnetic pole 6, the intensity of magnetic field generated from the rotor 1 is enhanced to increase the magnetic load of a superconductive generator and to thus reduce the size and weight of the generator.
