Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the heat efficiency and to reduce the harmful components in the exhaust gas, by meams of reducing the loss of the storage by controlling the volume of the storage chamber according to the operating status of an engine, and of allowing the optimum turbulence to be always generated within a combustion chamber notwithstanding the operating status of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: A circular cylindrical hole 17 which one part of a storage chamber 10 is constituted within a cylinder head 4, is formed, and a piston cylinder device 18 is mounted on the cylinder head 4 in the right direction of this circular cylindrical hole 17. The exhaust pressure of a pump 25 becomes high according as the rotation number becomes high, and the pressure within a pressure control chamber 23 becomes also high sttended with this. Owing to this, the volume of the storage chamber 10 becomes small, by means of transfering a piston 20 to the left direction when the rotation number of the engine becomes high. From the result of this, the loss of the storage in the high speed of an engine can be reduced, thereby high heat efficiency can be kept.
