Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify electrical connection constitution and facilitate its expansion as well by so arranging the circuit that when one out of (n) push-buttons is selected and depressed the corresponding code is generated and the corresponding lamp displays.
CONSTITUTION: Clock ϕ 1 causes the output of a decoder 5 to reiterate L cyclically to (a)-(b)-(c)-(d)-(b). Here, when a switch PBS 2 is depressed immediately before the output (c) becomes L, a lamp driver LD is energized and the output becomes L which then enters an inverter 7 via the switch PBS 2. This applies H to the K input of an FF 1, then the FF 1 inverts upon entering of the negative pulse of the clock (A), thus its Q output becomes L and its -Q output becomes H. According to this, a relay driver DR is energized to turn ON the contact (r) of a relay R, thereby causing a lamp LP 2 to light. Along with this, the (B) input of a counter 4 becomes normally H, thus stopping the stepping. The (c) input of the decoder 5 is held at normally L and its output (C) maintains L. This state is released by depressing the switch PBS.
