Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy detection of the resonance state and thus to apply the detection method to the oscillator circuit or the like, by providing the inductance and the variable capacity capacitance in parallel to the piezoelectric oscillator which is excited by the piezoelectric thin film provided on the non-piezoelectric substrate. CONSTITUTION:Indactance L0 and variable capacity capacitance CV are provided in parallel to composite oscillator 1 which features the thickness shear vibraion, the thickness longitudinal vibration, the contour vibration and the flexion vibration via piezoelectric thin film 4 of under 10 m provided on non-piezoelectric material 1. When the resonance frequency of oscillator 1 is set to f0, f0=1/2pi[L0(C0+CV)]<1/2> is obtained, where C0 is the parallel capacity of the oscillator, CV is the variable capacity added in parallel and L0 is the inductance also added in parallel respectively. Thus, the resonance detection can be facilitated greatly for the oscillator.
