Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a composition capable of sintering at a temperature less than 1000°C and having a high electric constant, a small dielectric loss and a high specific resistance by adding one or more kinds of Sb, Bi, V, Nb, and Ta to a main ingredients consisting of iron, lead tungstate and lead niobate.
CONSTITUTION: The main composition is pd.(Fe2/3W1/3)x.(F1/2Nb1/2) 1-x. O3 (wherein X is 0.2 ≤ x ≤ 0.5) xontains 0.02 to 2 atom % of at least more than one kind of metallic element of Sb, Bi, V, Nb and Ta as subingredients. The starting material, pbo. Fe3O4. WO3. Nb2O5. Sb6O3. Bi2O3. V2O5. Ta2O5 is weighed so as to be the composition described above and presintered at 750° and 850° after wet mixing. Then, it is sintered to obtain the product at 880° to 850°C after crushing and forming under pressure. The purpose of limiting the value of X as 0.2≤ X≤ 0.5 is to keep the Curie point within a range of room temperature and the limitation of amount of the subingredients is in considering the improvement of the dielectric loss ant the specific restance.
