Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.繊維あるいはマトリックス中で脆性を高める材料相あるいは材料領域が本 質的に存在しない元素アルミニウムのマトリックス中に含有される、少なくとも 、約2.8GPaの抗張力を有する多結晶α-Al2O3の少なくとも一本の繊維 を含む複合材料。 2.約2%以下の銅と元素アルミニウムの合金を含み、繊維あるいはマトリッ クス中で脆性を高める材料相あるいは材料領域が本質的に存在しないことを特徴 とするマトリックス中に含有される、少なくとも、約2.8GPaの抗張力を有 する多結晶α-Al2O3の少なくとも一本の繊維を含む複合材料。 3.前記少なくとも一本の繊維が実質的に連続的である請求項1または2記載 の複合材料。 4.約30〜70%の多結晶α-Al2O3繊維を含む請求項1または2に記載 の複合材料。 5.約40〜60%の多結晶α-Al2O3繊維を含む請求項1または2に記載 の複合材料。 6.前記元素アルミニウムマトリックスが、約0.03%より少ない鉄を含有 する請求項1または2に記載の複合材料。 7.前記元素アルミニウムマトリックスが、約0.01%より少ない鉄を含有 する請求項1あるいは2に記載の複合材料。 8.前記マトリックスが、約90MPaより少ない降伏強さを有する請求項2 記載の複合材料。 9.実質的に純元素アルミニウムおよび約2%以下の銅を含む元素アルミニウ ムの合金から構成されるグループから選択されるマトリックス中に、複数の、実 質的に、連続的な多結晶α-Al2O3繊維を含むワイヤ。 10.前記少なくとも一本の繊維が実質的に連続的である請求項 9記載のワイヤ。 11.実質的に純粋の元素アルミニウムおよび約2%以下の銅を含む元素アル ミニウム合金から構成されるグループから選択されたマトリックス中に実質的に 連続の複数の多結晶α-Al2O3である繊維をその各々が含む、複数のアルミニ ウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤを含む頭上高電圧送電ケーブル。 12.複数の電導性アルミニウムあるいはアルミニウム合金ワイヤを含む少な くとも1の電導性ジャケットをさらに含む請求項11に記載の頭上高電圧送電ケ ーブル。 13.前記アルミニウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤが約30〜70%の多結 晶α-Al2O3繊維を含む請求項9または11に記載の物品。 14.前記アルミニウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤが、約40〜60%の多 結晶α-Al2O3繊維を含む請求項9または11に記載の物品。 15.前記アルミニウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤのマトリックスが、約0 .03%より少ない鉄を含有する請求項9または11に記載の物品。 16.前記アルミニウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤのマトリックスが、約2 0MPaより少ない降伏強さを有する、実質的に純粋の元素アルミニウムを含む 請求項9または11に記載の物品。 17.前記アルミニウムマトリックス複合材料ワイヤのマトリックスが、銅2 %以下を含む元素アルミニウム合金を含み、および、さらに約90MPaより少 ない降伏強さを有するマトリックスである請求項9または11に記載の物品。 18.前記多結晶α-Al2O3繊維が、少なくとも約2.8GPaの長さ方向 の抗張力を有することを記載の請求項9または11に 記載の物品。 19.電導性ジャケットの前記電導性アルミニウムワイヤが、1350Alお よび6201Alからなるグループから選択された材料を含む請求項12に記載 の物品。
