Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.同期ディジタル階層(SDH)内で動作する通信網において、該網は相互接続さ れた複数のノードと、前記各ノード対間に規定された作動チャネルと、複数の作 動チャネルとして機能する一個の保護チャネルとを含み、前記作動チャネルでの 障害時には、前記作動チャネル上を第一ノードから第二ノードへ送られる通信信 号は、前記保護チャネルに切り替えられ、前記第一ノードは、前記通信信号と共 にチャネル追跡信号を送るよう動作し、前記追跡信号は各チャネルを識別するも のであり、前記第二ノードは、前記第二ノードを終端ノードとする前記保護チャ ネル上に前記チャネル追跡信号があるかを監視し、前記追跡信号があるときには 、前記保護チャネル上の前記追跡信号に関連する通信信号を前記第二ノードに切 り替え送信し、さらに他の宛て先への接続のために備えることを特徴とする通信 網。 2.特許請求の範囲第1項に記載の通信網において、前記チャネル追跡信号は、 セクション追跡および/またはパス追跡信号であることを特徴とする通信網。 3.特許請求の範囲第1項または第2項に記載の通信網において、前記保護チャ ネルは環状の双方向チャネルであり、前記第一ノードは障害時、前記通信信号を 前記環状チャネルの両方向に送信を始め、前記第二ノードは前記チャネルの各方 向を監視して前記作動チャネルの方向に対応する方向からの通信信号を選択する ことを特徴と する通信網。 4.特許請求の範囲第3項に記載の通信網において、前記第二ノードは、さらに 、前記方向にチャネル追跡信号を送信し、前記信号を受信した前記第一ノードは 、前記方向の反対方向への信号送信を停止するようにすることを特徴とする通信 網。 5.特許請求の範囲第1項ないし第4項に記載の通信網において、前記保護チャ ネルが保護目的に使用されていないときには、前記網は低優先度の通信信号を前 記保護チャネルに振り向けることを特徴とする通信網。 6.相互接続された複数のノードと、前記各ノード対間に規定される作動チャネ ルと、複数の前記作動チャネルに対して設けられる一個の共通保護チャネルとを 含み、同期ディジタル階層(SDH)内で作動する通信網内において、第一ノードで 前記作動チャネルにおける障害検出時に通信信号を前記保護チャネルに切り替え る方法であって、前記方法は前記作動チャネルを識別するためのチャネル追跡信 号を前記保護チャネルに送信するステップと、 前記保護チャネルの前記追跡信号を第二ノードで受信時に、前記追跡信号に対 応する通信信号を前記第二ノードに切り替えて、さらに他の宛て先への接続に備 えるステップとにより構成されることを特徴とするチャネル切替方法。
