Description
【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、角質化された皮膚の改善等に有用な、ソジウ
ム・モンモリロナイト、尿素複合体を主成分とする化粧
料に関する。

用を有し、特に鉄分が少なく白色度の高いベントナイト
原鉱から生成されるものは化粧料として優れた適応性を
有することが知られている。

また尿素は皮膚の角質化を改善する性質を有し、尿素含
有量10％程度のクリームが上市されているが、通常のW/
O又はO/Wに混合するクリーム状のものでは、例えばかな
りの高温下に放置すると粘度が急速に低下し、流動する
ようになり、不都合があった。

本発明は、ソジウム・モンモリロナイトが各種のアミン
及び蛋白質と複合体をつくり、共に包接作用を有すると
いう知見に基ずき、特にソジウム・モンモリロナイトと
尿素との複合体が皮膚の硬質化を改善するのに顕著に有
用であることを発見しこれを化粧料の主成分とすべくな
されたものである。

本発明で使用されるソジウム・モンモリロナイトは、所
謂ベントナイト原鉱を水に分散し、シルト分を沈降分離
せしめ、少なくともミクロンオーダーに分散膨潤するゾ
ルを集めて濃縮し、実質６〜８％のゲル状物質即ち水膨
潤ゲル体としたものである。

その化学成分は、例えば、SiO275.2％、Al2O312.0％、M
gO 0.81％、Fe2O31.6％、Na2O2.17％、K2O0.55％、イグ
ニッションロス6.55％で、SiO2を主成分とし、構造的に
は、水を層間に含んで三層構造をとる特異な粘土鉱物で
あり、ベントナイトとして日本薬局法及び化粧品原料基
準に収載されている。

的安定性を有し、60゜〜70℃において500時間以上経過
しても流動軟化せず、ゲルの可塑性を低下しないことか
ら、該複合体を主成分とする化粧料を提供するに至りた
るものである。

膏化し、角質化された皮膚の改善を期待できる化粧料と
してきわめて有用なものとなる。

ホバ油、セタノールを夫々5.0,3.0,1.7重量％、ビタミ
ンB2及びB6並びにシコニンを夫々小量ずつ、ピロリドン
カルボン酸、分散維持剤を夫々1.5,0.1重量％含む通常
の尿素含有化粧料（Ａ）と、ソジウム・モンモリロナイ
ト、尿素複合体を主成分とする本願化粧料のうち後述N
o.1の組成のもの（Ｂ）との、皮膚の角質化改善効果を
膝角質症及び踵角質症について比較した結果は下記のと
おり角質化された皮膚の改善において、（Ｂ）は（Ａ）
に比し遥かに優れている。

が、諸種のアミン及び蛋白質と複合体をつくり、就中、
尿素との複合体は皮膚の角質化の改善に特効を有する。

その他複合体の生成を効率的に行なうには、 １） ソジウム・モンモリロナイトのpHを5.0〜6.0の範
囲にコントロールするため、ピロリドン・カルボン酸を
１〜1.5％添加することが好ましく、また添加により生
成するピロリドン・カルボン酸ソーダは湿潤剤として寄
与する。

し、熱経歴も極めて安定していて、下記No.1〜No.4の組
成に係る本発明に係る化粧料はいずれも60゜〜70℃で50
0時間以上経過しても、流動、軟化を生じることがな
く、また、ゲルの可塑性が低下しないので極めて好都合
である。なお、下記の各数字は重量％を示す。
